Crisis Intervention

Crisis intervention shall provide immediate mental health care, to assist individuals who are experiencing acute psychiatric dysfunction requiring immediate clinical attention. Crisis intervention services must be available 24 hours a day, seven days per week.

When to Seek Crisis Intervention

Acute Distress

Experiencing overwhelming emotional distress, panic attacks, or severe anxiety that interferes with daily functioning.

Safety Concerns

Thoughts of harming oneself or others, or being in a situation where personal safety is at risk.

Psychiatric Symptoms

Experiencing severe symptoms such as hallucinations, delusions, extreme mood swings, or disorganized thinking.

Our Crisis Intervention Process

    Our crisis team responds promptly to calls, providing immediate support and assessment to determine the level of intervention needed.

    We conduct a thorough evaluation of immediate safety concerns and implement appropriate measures to ensure the client's wellbeing.

    Crisis Stabilization

    Our trained professionals use evidence-based techniques to de-escalate the situation and help the client regain emotional stability.

    Continuity of Care

    Following the immediate crisis, we develop a follow-up plan and connect clients with appropriate ongoing services to prevent future crises.
